Fix the quest in Adventure Guide please!.
I thought this was going to be a major pain this week for my alts. However, the Hunt took about 8 minutes and the Siege took 7 minutes start-to-finish. Soup took the full 15 minutes, but that's only because I showed up on time. For all three of these events, you can show up after it starts and still get full credit as long as you participate. With the Dream or Loam, those events were also on timers, so this isn't terribly different. The Hunt lasts for a long time, so just do that one last.
From my understanding, you get the other half off a raid boss(awakened?) or last boss of dungeon.
so I got 1 spark of Awakened from the weekly and one from end of a dungeon. Should be able to create one on week one or is this a bug?
I gotta say, having tons of quest loot and event rewards be nothing but a crafting item really stinks.A lot of players DO NOT CRAFT. So for all that have gathering professions, we got crafting items that are soulbound, which we cannot even trade or sell, instead of actual quest rewards we could use.I hope they get rid of this in the future. Or have a choice, so players who don't craft can get something useful.
I got one-half from the weekly and the other half from an LFR boss last night. I didn't do a m+ until after I got a full spark
Got ilevel 480 gear off the events (all 3) then getting 450 gear from the weekly chest didn't feel good, especially since the piece of gear i got i could get off a wq at ilevel 463.
Support has been largely unsupportive in this regard, but I did at least three allegedly spark-awarding quests, and at some point, I'm not sure exactly when, hovering over the spark thing in the rewards claimed I had already received my weekly spark. At the time, I absolutely did not have a spark. Over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday nights, doing other activities, I did manage to get two splinters and enough flightstones to create the spark, but my telling support that it was claiming that I already had a spark only led to them giving me a generic link to FAQs and then, amusingly, this wowhead link, and both times, flagging the ticket as "Answered."If the premise is that you can only get a splinter OR a spark from weeklies that claim a "weekly spark activity" reward, then they should SAY SO, because at this moment, the in-game messaging is wrong. Additionally, if there's a "spark cap" like with conquest or crests, it would be helpful if they said so too, because it is not clear on whether I will still be able to acquire more splinters in this first week, or whether I should work on an alt instead. Similarly, if there IS an invisible spark cap, does that mean I'll be able to acquire/create two sparks next week on alts that I don't get a full spark for this week?
I got one splinter from winning an Epic BG, from the little crate you get after; and then another from the weekly pvp quest. For verification, you can check my toon Kalthoris on Moon Guard. I have an awakened crafted pair of boots on. So it is 1 full spark per week, for sure.
